From Your Pastor’s Heart

I just want to thank each person for getting their picture made for the pictorial directory.  I also want to thank Jean Burns and Marlene Sturkie for their work in making the new directory a reality.  We really needed this ministry help.

Lots going on between now and the first of the year.  Be sure to keep your calendar close so you can keep up with all the events.

The Wilder family wishes each person a very Merry Christmas and happy new Year!

The Christmas Cantata “Noel” and the Christmas Dinner December 16, 2007 at 6:00 PM

The choir will perform and it is promised to be a delightful evening of music.  Bring your favorite meats, casseroles and desserts and we’ll all sit down and eat together.

Then the old jolly fellow himself will be present to greet the young and old alike.  We have plenty of room and look forward to seeing you there.

Invite your family and friends for a special night of Christmas music and fellowship!

The Youth News

It is hard to believe that we are at the end of 2007 which means that we are going to be busy during the month of December.  We are going to The Silver Ring Thing on December 1st.  Then on December 12th we will be having our Christmas party.  We will give details about this on Wednesday nights.  Finally on December 31st we will be having our annual Lock-in.  The Lock-in will be from 8:00pm on the 31st to 8:00am on January 1st.  In the midst of school ending, exams, and family gatherings I hope to see you at these events.

Speaking of school getting out for Christmas, I encourage all of you to take this break as a time to relax and rejuvenate.  Spend time with your family and friends, have fun, and be ready to go back in January and do your best.  Once school starts back we will begin a new study on Wednesday nights that will take us several weeks.  I hope to see you here for this study.  I hope you all have a great break and don’t forget the reason that we are able to be out of school and have our family gatherings.  If Christ had not come to this earth in human form then we wouldn’t have Christmas.  Have a good break and I hope to see you at our myriad of stuff this month.

In Christ,

John Harmon
